How data analytics problem will be solved  using R?

R is a language that is very helpful for big data analytics and easy to use for data analysis .All you need to now is that you have :

• A Strong quantitative background with a solid understanding of basic statistics
• Knowledge  with SQL.

Definition:

1. R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
2. R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, ...) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible."
3. "One of R's strengths is the ease with which well-designed publication-quality plots can be produced, including mathematical symbols and formulae where needed."

Install a Development Environment for Data Analytics.

The development environment is the application that you will use to open, edit, and execute R programs. I will  recommend  RStudio for R Programming.

Installing RStudio

• You need to have R installed first .
• RStudio can be downloaded from: http://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/
• Select the “installer” link that corresponds to your operating system (e.g. Windows, Mac OSX).
